As part of the Pickard complete service we inform the gas, electric, water and council tax on your behalf to make that move a little easier.
Pickard have payments systems such as Direct Debit for collection of rent for your convenience and also have the facilities to accept payments by debit or credit cards.



Student letting process.

You can view our properties online by using the property search, register with us and we will keep you updated. Telephone our office on 0113 246 9395 to discuss your requirements or request our brochure to be sent to you.

Arrange a viewing with us on 0113 246 9395 – you can meet at our office and we will transport you there or at the property.

Once you have you have found your ideal property with us make an appointment for signing at our office 0113 246 9395.

At your signing appointment, which will last about one hour maximum we will read through our terms and conditions and the tenancy agreement to make sure you understand how your tenancy will work and how we work. Please remember to bring with you the following
a)    Student ID card
b)    £250.00 Deposit & £25.00 legal documentation fee ( Please note we now accept debit/credit cards )
c)    National Insurance Number
Please remember you can only sign for your property if there is at least half of the tenants who are proposing to take the property present at the appointment.

Your house is then secured for you.

Professional Letting Process

You can view our properties online by using the property search, register with us and we will keep you updated. We are on a number of property search websites including www.rightmove.com, www. findaproperty.com , www. propertyfinder.com .Alternatively telephone our office on 0113 246 9395 to discuss your requirements.

Arrange a viewing with us by telephoning our office on Leeds 0113 246 9395. We are flexible regarding viewing times and will always try to accommodate you.

If you would like to apply for one of our properties, we can email you an application or send an application by post.

Once we have received your application together with your application fee to the sum of £45.00 and your agreed security deposit to cease marketing the property we will process it. Your completed application form will provide us with details of your nominated referees in order for us to obtain references from your employer, previous Landlord etc. This process can take anything between 4 and 10 days depending on the co-operation of the nominated referees.

If your application is successful we make arrangements for a check-in inspection which requires a mutually convenient appointment at the property to sign your tenancy agreement , hand over of keys , inventory check, a ‘walk through’  of the property to ensure you are familiar with heating etc and finally to take the readings of any meters for utilities.
