Skating attraction returns to city
A popular winter skating attraction is returning toLeedsthis week with organisers hoping that an exciting addition and enticing prices will ensure large crowds.
Leedsstudents are amongst those being offered a generous discount when Ice Cube reopens. Instead of paying the full £7 adult price for an ice skating session, students and other concessions will pay £5.50.
The attraction inMillennium Squarein the centre of the city will stay open until Sunday February 26, with the Capital FM Snow Slide providing additional fun for visitors this year.
Known as a tubing run, the 40m dry slope features a six-metre drop which is sure to provide plenty of thrills and spills.
One ride on the Capital FM Snow Slide costs £2 or visitors can get three for £5. Children must be over 1.1m tall or sit in the lap of a parent or guardian if they are smaller.
