TV search for UK sorority girls

Leeds students may catch a glimpse or two of fiveUS college student girls as they start recruiting in the city for theUK's first all-female club.

The sorority girls will award initiated contestants £25,000 to carry on with the sorority known as Sigma Gamma after the girls fromAmericareturn home.

The girls going in for recruitment will undergo all aspects of sorority - secret handshakes, door chants and night rituals - for the sake of TLC's new reality series Sorority Girls.

 But there's a serious stipulation. "First and foremost, I really want well-rounded girls. Someone who takes their studies seriously," said sorority president Amelia.

 Even so, "cultures will clash and girls will be judged and humiliated all for the sake of earning sisterhood," warns TLC. The show is to run for eight weeks as theUSteenagers - Amelia, Hannah, Arianna, Dominique and Devan - for the right five Brit girls to fill the spots.
