The shortlist for this year’s Insider Yorkshire Property Industry Awards has been revealed and we are delighted to announce that Pickard Properties has been shortlisted for the ‘Refit and Refurbishment Project of the Year’ award for The Masons on the Green development in Horsforth.

For two decades, Insider has been holding the Yorkshire Property Industry Awards annually, with the goal of celebrating outstanding achievements in the commercial property sector.

Pickard Properties’ shortlisted development — The Masons on the Green — is located in Horsforth, around five miles north-west of Leeds city centre in West Yorkshire.

The development consists of five luxury apartments above the ancient Black Bull Inn, alongside three new-build town houses. All have been designed as perfect homes for young professionals and families.

In fact, with a bustling community on the doorstep and excellent transport links, the properties will be popular with any person who wants to experience the heart of Horsforth.

‘’ The development of The Black Bull Inn in Horsforth included a refit and refurbishment of the public house on the ground floor and the creation of five high-quality apartments on Town Street plus three new-build properties on Drury Lane.
“It is an important piece of local heritage, and a respectful conversion was key to the whole design to ensure it was in keeping with Town Street and Drury Lane.
“This is another niche development for us, and one that we are very proud to bring to market; so, to be shortlisted for this award feels great, especially as completion and the letting of this development was frustrated by COVID -19. We are fully let so this recognition is wonderful for the team and what they have achieved during a difficult time.’’
