We are Leeds born and bred and have been a well-respected family company for half a century. At the core of Pickard Properties is our Leeds student accommodation. Bills inclusive or exclusive – we’re flexible!

We are delighted to be able to offer our tenants all inclusive student accommodation in Leeds on any student property which is 3-bedrooms or more, and we have been doing this for years. We were in fact one of the first landlords to offer all inclusive student properties other than halls, and Pickard is the only landlord in Leeds to offer unlimited use of your gas, water and electric so you won’t be landed with an unexpected excess usage bill at the end of your tenancy — that definitely would not be a nice farewell!

We cushion our student tenants against steep energy price rises, remove the frustration of ringing utility suppliers, and aim to offer properties that remain toasty and cosy throughout your tenancy. We know there is nothing worse than sitting at your laptop with freezing extremities! We have all been there so the plan is to provide this choice so you don’t ever have to experience it.

Energy saving properties 

We all love the traditional Victorian build houses in Hyde Park and Headingley – they are a visual reminder of the rich history of Leeds, and it's pretty cool that they have stood there for 100 years or more and still look great. However, 100 years on it is all about energy efficiency — reducing emissions, and adapting our traditional builds without sacrificing their charm, making them as energy efficient as possible. 

Our traditional properties are very comfortable places for students to live thanks to the latest insulation measures. The most suitable of our properties have benefited from internal wall insulation and/or external wall insulation under the Government backed Green Deal Finance Scheme.
